Teaching is more than just a profession to me - it's a calling and a ministry. For approximately 25 years, I have had the joy and privilege of teaching and molding young minds, not only in academics but in their spiritual growth as well.I believe every child is uniquely created by God, with a purpose that is both powerful and personal.
This school year, our school- wide theme is "Rooted in Christ." It's a reminder that when our foundation is firmly planted in Him, we can weather any storm and grow strong in faith and character. In our classroom, we're building on that with the theme "Planted with Purpose." I want my students to know that wherever God plants them, He has a plan. They are not here by accident- they were created with intention and are destined to grow, flourish, and bear fruit.
One of my favorite Bible verses, Jeremiah 29:11, beautifully captures this truth; " For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope."
It is my mission to create a Christ-centered learning environment where students feel safe, loved, and inspired to become all that God has called them to be. I'm excited for another year of learning, growing, and walking in purpose- together.
